SYRIAN TRIBE GIVES US-LED COALITION ONE MONTH TO HANDOVER TERRITORIES IN AL JAZIRA REGION

Sheikhs of the al Akidat tribe held a meeting in Dhiban town of Eastern Deir Ezzor on August 11, 2020.

The reports say about five thousand people including notable elders of al Akidat tribe held an expanded meeting in the house of the tribe’s chief general Ibrahim Khalil al Hafl located in Dhiban town of Deir Ezzor village.

The Sheikhs called on the U.S.-led International Coalition to form an investigation committee of the assassination of Sheikh Mutashar al Hafl and his relative Da’r al Khalaf, demanding that the committee should be consisted of professional and specialized persons with the participation of experienced investigators from the tribe nominated by Sheikh Ibrahim al Hafl.

The tribal meeting condemned the state of security chaos, administrative and military corruption, and the assassinations, the latest of which was the recent assassination, for which the al Akidat tribe held the SDF and the U.S. Coalition responsible for.

According to the source, the al Akidat tribe has given the coalition and Kurdish forces one month to leave the lands in Eastern Syria and hand over it to Arabs.
