ISIS extremists attacked Syrian Army positions between Homs and Deir Ezzor in the Badiyah (desert) on Wednesday. After several hours of fighting SAA successfully reflected an attack.
On Monday, SAA warplanes launched strikes against ISIS targets in al Bawlieh, Maadan, al Khmaisieh, al Jaber, and al Numaisa in the south of Raqqah.
Unknown fighters killed a former military commander of Ahrar al Sham “Hamoud Abu Malik” who had pledged loyalty to HTS during the recent clashes. Abu Malik was assassinated outside his home in Maar Shimmareen by two unknown fighters on motorcycles.
